Time has come to take action. How long we will keep ourselves in dark? Plastic in its different and affordable form is digging our grave. With time we are coming across different harmful chemicals like BPA (Bis-phenol A) in plastic which is making is unsafe for use. Most importantly the exposure of plastic to sunlight is becoming a threat for mankind.
There is wide range of alternative that should be used as soon as possible in the place of plastic. Drinking and eating is obligatory activity in human lifestyle. Plastic is being widely used here. Listed below are some wonderful replacements for plastic to bring an end to the trauma which we all suffer. This change will keep you and your environment safe. 

1. PLASTIC CONTAINERS

Plastic containers are used to store spices, grains, pulses and different kitchen stuff. These plastic containers for food are made from PET and PETE-Polyethylene terephthalate.  This plastic leach chemical into your stored food. Leaching is a process through which infinitesimal bits of plastics get in our food. When small container of spice is picked up to flavour the food it ends up in contaminating it. On consuming it can lead to reproductive difficulties and can cause cancer.
The continuous injection of harmful chemical can come to an end by the use of:

It is used in form of plastic covered cups, plates, bowls, trays, spoons, forks, knives, etc. They not only pollute our outer world but also inner world.
These easy disposable products are made from PVC – polyvinyl chloride. Dioxins that get our body due to use of PVC create different health problems. Cancer, birth defects, diabetes, learning and developmental delays, etc.

From childhood we all have a habit of carrying a plastic bottle with us wherever we go. Plastics are used in plenty in household water storing purposes, schools by students and teachers, in shops, in factories and many places. The plastic bottles on which we relied to quench our thirst turned out to be the cause of our illness.
The use of BPA to make hard and clear polycarbonate bottle has increased the migration of chemicals into water. Diabetes, heart diseases and liver toxicity is detected by the higher level of BPA in urine. It also has to potential to affect the brain, behaviour, and prostate gland in foetuses, infants, and young children.
It will be hard to through away our most favourite plastic bottle but you have do it for your health. These new water bottles won’t remind you about own unhealthy ones.

4. PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS

People around the world use plastic grocery bags. No would accept that these bags which they use to carry wellness actually carried illness into their life. These bags are basically used to carry vegetables and groceries from shops to home.  
These bags are made from HPDE- high density polyethylene. The release of estrogenic from this plastic can alter the structure of human cells becoming a danger to infant and children. One the exposure to sunlight the leaching process increases.

We work hard to earn a healthy and happy life. Food and water being the two most essential elements is getting contaminated with harmful chemicals due to our unawareness. A plastic is a versatile elements but it leaching activity has made it a reason for sickness.
